The inaugural 2015 STEMposium will be held May 22nd in ESB 1001/2001 from 8:30am to 1:30pm to highlight research endeavors in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at UCSB. The event is being co-hosted by the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), the Chemical Sciences Student Seminar (CSSS), and the Graduate Simulation Seminar Series (GSSS). It welcomes graduate students, undergraduates, postdoctoral researchers, professors, and other community members to discuss research presentations and posters. The inaugural STEMposium seeks to bring together members from various science and engineering departments in the presence of academic and industry sponsors. This event will feature two distinct yet synergistic sets of talks in fundamental STEM research, interceded by a poster session and lunch. You can find the complete schedule here.
