Call for Applications: Emerging Scholars Award for Excellence in Research and Public Policy

The UC Center Sacramento announces its second annual Emerging Scholars Award for Excellence in Research and Public Policy. The award will recognize excellence in graduate student research with a direct impact on public policy. The recipients of the Emerging Scholars Award will receive a $500 prize and will deliver an invited policy lecture at the UC Center in Summer 2016. Submissions will be accepted through March 1. UC Center Sacramento

Award: $500 and an opportunity to deliver a policy lecture at the UC Center.

Deadline: Mar. 1.

Application requirements: 250-word abstract; two-page summary of paper; CV; teaching evaluations from the last two quarters; letter of recommendation from a supervising professor.

To apply: Submit all materials (with the letter of recommendation sent separately by the professor) to Dee Powell with the subject line “Emerging Scholars."
