The UC Center Sacramento announces its second annual Emerging Scholars Award for Excellence in Research and Public Policy. The award will recognize excellence in graduate student research with a direct impact on public policy. The recipients of the Emerging Scholars Award will receive a $500 prize and will deliver an invited policy lecture at the UC Center in Summer 2016. Submissions will be accepted through March 1. Award: $500 and an opportunity to deliver a policy lecture at the UC Center.

Deadline: Mar. 1.

Application requirements: 250-word abstract; two-page summary of paper; CV; teaching evaluations from the last two quarters; letter of recommendation from a supervising professor.

To apply: Submit all materials (with the letter of recommendation sent separately by the professor) to Dee Powell with the subject line “Emerging Scholars."
