3 Grad Students Win 2013 UCSB Leadership & Activities Awards

There were several familiar grad student faces at the 2013 Leadership & Activities Awards ceremony, held on Wednesday in the SRB Multipurpose Room. The awards program, supported by Student Life and students’ initiative fees, was led by the Office of Student Life, Division of Student Affairs.

Awards were given in a number of categories, such as Organization of the Year and Outstanding Leadership. The awards for Individual Co-Curricular Activity recognize those students at each grade level who contribute to the quality of campus life through their participation in co-curricular activities.

The three winners in the Graduate Student category for Individual Co-Curricular Activity are:

Peter Todnem Burks, Chemistry

Hannah Kallewaard, Chemistry

Amirali Ghofrani, Computer Engineering
